Jim Longsdon

With deepest regret we realize the passing of Jim Longsdon, a retired, long-term member of our team and Company.
Jim began work with us as a driller/laborer in 1975, learned the skills and business of rock blasting and over the next 29 years became a blaster recognized and respected by fellow employees and a wide range of blasting professionals, including the late Allen Hale of Dyno Nobel and John Lee Turner of Atlas Powder/Orica.

Remembering Jim will always put big smiles on our faces here at Ed’s as we recall the many stories…but, the bottom line on Jim’s work was that he was skilled, he always showed up on time ready to work, he always worked hard and he had no use for anyone who did less.

His virtues cherished
His faults forgiven
May Jim Rest in Peace.

Jim M. Longsdon, was born in 1941 and passed away at home on Thursday April 11, 2019. He was a resident of Clover Bottom, Missouri.
