The majority of Ed's Drilling & Blasting Company's work is drilling and blasting rock for site development, basements, utility trenches, highways, quarries and river work. We work throughout the entire eastern area of Missouri, and to a lesser extent, in Arkansas and Illinois. We are hired by individuals, farmers, utility companies, excavating and building contractors, municipalities, highway departments, and the Corps of Engineers, for rock jobs varying from a few cubic yards up to more than 250,000 cubic yards. We drill holes as small as an inch and a quarter in diameter up to 4.5 inches in diameter. We contract for work by the hour, the cubic yard, the lineal foot, the square foot, or by the job, lump sum. As is standard in the industry, we offer free estimates of cost for rock projects.
