SAFETY
Ed's Drilling & Blasting Company is in the business of using high explosives. Safety is a large facet of our business. We have adopted the safety guidelines of the institute of Makers of Explosives (IME) as our own. Our daily procedures comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. Safety training and re-training is an ongoing process as we work to comply with regulations from the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and the Federal Department of Transportaion (DOT). We offer numerous safety incentives and bonuses to our co-workers.

EMPLOYEES
Ed's Drilling & Blasting Company employs fifteen full-time workers. Three workers have been with us for over 20 years and one supervisor has over 40 years with our operation. We employ persons with the following skills: clerical, administrative, accounting, heavy equipment mechanic, drilling, blasting, heavy equipment operation, and driving vehicles requiring up to Class A CDL. We offer incentives to stay with the company.

EQUIPMENT
Ed's Drilling & Blasting Company depends on Furukawa and Scorpion self-contained drills and Sullivan air-track drills powered by Sullivan and Ingersoll-Rand air compressors to complete our rock projects. We also operate two highlifts, a scraper, dump truck, and motorgrader for the occasional small excavation project. We mobilize equipment using flatbed trucks and a tractor/lowboy.

INSURANCE
Ed's Drilling & Blasting Company is fully insured including public liability, UEC, worker's compensation, automobile/truck, inland marine and property. We carry MCS-90 documentation. projects.
